Willpower Is Not Enough
tl;dr:
humans overestimate their willpower
This year I’ve been taking a intentional proactive stance on my social media consumption.
This is in contrast to last year. I quit my previous role as an Engineering Manager at Rapha.cc and went to Girona, Spain to send some time disconnected, ride my bike, and let my thoughts run away with themselves.
A mental detox was in order alongside the idea to disconnect slightly.
